Originally hailing from Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, Sarah first visited Costa Rica in 2006. She made the permanent move less than a year later. Originally set on a path as a competitive athlete, her life took a detour when she started questioning the deeper meaning of life and why we are here. This led her down to the jungles of Costa Rica, where she had her eyes opened up to a different way of living in the world that was far more harmonious with nature. Through meditation, yoga, service, processing, and many different alternative healing modalities, she found a deep (re)connection to the beauty of life.
Sarah lives by the philosophy of “How can I serve?” and is always ready to lend a hand and show up to help in whatever way that is needed. She loves to teach the community yoga classes, surf lessons, and most recently has added massages to her repertoire. She also works with the Iboga Yoga program helping to hold space for the ceremonies, as well as offering counselling, coaching and group processing circles.
